Over the weekend I found some new street art on the building located at the southeast corner of Sherman Avenue and Girard Street. Off hand, it looks like these have been inspired by a few of the equestrian statues around town.

May 2, 2013Here’s an example of a street art series I’ve been seeing around the city. I like the premise. In all of them, a figure is holding up a blank sign that has been written on. I’ve seen them come in a variety of sizes and colors. The one below was found on P Street, NW, but I’ve also seen them on K Street as well.
Area Street Art — Stop Deportations!
