Georgia Avenue Thrive is holding its next cleanup on Saturday Oct. 7 at 10 am. at the corner of Georgia & Newton.
Reliable Tavern is sponsoring the cleanup and will be making a special punch, available exclusively to cleanup
volunteers the evening of the 7th for a discounted price of $4.
Also, the Park View UNC is co-sponsoring this month’s cleanup with Georgia Avenue Thrive.
The next Georgia Avenue Thrive community cleanup will be this Saturday. Neighbors can gather at the corner of Georgia and Morton. Immediately following the cleanup, volunteers will gather at the Murray’s parking lot for free chips and dips from Cosi, plus free lemonade from our great neighbor Peter Fortner, who is also a Sotheby’s realtor. Georgia Avenue Thrive will hold its next neighborhood cleanup on Saturday June 3 beginning at 10 am at Georgia Avenue and Keefer Place. Immediately after they’ll meet at Heat Da Spot for a complimentary lunch from their generous sponsor and great neighbor! As you can imaging, seating will be limited, so email matt.mcfarland(at)gmail(dot)com to save your spot.
Georgia Avenue Thrive will hold its next cleanup at 10am May 6 at the corner of Georgia and Irving.
Immediately following the cleanup, volunteers will meet at Colony Club to enjoy free coffee or iced coffee (depending on the weather). It’s a neighborhood get-together, a great chance to socialize, chat with neighbors and come together as a community.

The Park View United Neighborhood Coalition (UNC) and Georgia Avenue Thrive are co-sponsoring an Earth Day cleanup in the neighborhood on Saturday April 22nd.
Everyone is welcome to participate, and volunteers will meet at 10 a.m. at the Park View Recreation Center on the corner of Warder St. and Otis Pl. and fan out across the neighborhood to plant flowers and clean up neighborhood streets. Pizza will be served at noon at the rec center.

Georgia Avenue Thrive’s next Park View Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, beginning at 10 a.m. This month, the cleanup is partnering with District Dogs. The cleanup will start outside their store at 3210 Georgia Ave. District Dogs will provide free coffee and doughnuts and give a 25% discount to volunteers who give 90 minutes of their time to the neighborhood (The discount is limited to purchases of $100 or less).

Taking advantage of the forecast temperate weather this Saturday, January 14th, Georgia Avenue Thrive has schedule their monthly community cleanup. This month, they will meet at Warder and Park Road under the beautiful new oak trees.
