Looking Glass Lounge Robbed Late Monday Afternoon

From the MPD Listserv, posted Monday evening on June 5th:

Today [Monday, 6/5] around 4:40PM two suspects entered the Looking Glass Lounge at 3634 Georgia Avenue, NW.  One suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money.  There were no injuries reported.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 5’7″, 160 lbs, brown eyes. black hair, medium build, medium skin tone, wearing, black sweatpants, white shoes with purple and black accents, lime green hoodie with pink Nike swoosh.

The second suspect was describes as a black male, 5’7”, early 20’s, black hoodie, blue jeans, black baseball hat, and a black mask.

Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to call 202 727-9099.

MPD Seeks Assistance for Person of Interest in Armed Robbery on Georgia Avenue.

MPD is seeking assistance in identifying a person of interest in an armed robbery that occurred on January 5th on the 3200 block of Georgia Avenue. Below is the video followed by the MPD news release.

3200 Block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest
 
(Washington, DC)– The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in reference to an Armed Robbery of Establishment (Gun) offense that occurred in the 3200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at approximately 5:30 pm.
 
The suspect entered an establishment in the area, brandished a gun, and demanded money.  The suspect then went behind the counter, took US currency from the register, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
 
Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099.  Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including an armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
