Heads Up, CSOSA & MPD Third District Hosting Public Safety Roundtable
I’ve just been notified of the following CSOSA/MPD 3D Community Roundtable to promote Safe Neighborhoods that will be on the evening of June 20, 2019. Please see the flyer below for details.
While this event is at the Third District Substation, the information should be relevant to all residents regardless of what police district they live in.

I hope we get a good neighborhood turnout to this. Tonight, for the second time in 1 month, shots fired on the 600 block of Quebec Place. At the public safety working group last year we learned the following scary facts about what they do:
-17,000 criminals on supervised release in DC, only 300 have GPS monitoring.
-20 murders last year by people under CSOSA supervision.
– 126 violent offenders on supervised release live in PSA 302 (that’s a lot).
– Even the most violent offenders only get 4 “optional” home visits per month. Low risk criminals get 1 “optional” visits every 3 months.
