I received the following from Georgia Avenue Thrive, and think its a great opportunity to help out young people seeking jobs. Please see the announcement and flyer below:

Here are 4 ways you can help to support young people (15 to 24 year olds) in and around our neighborhoods who are seeking employment!

1.  SPREAD THE WORD – Please share the attached flier and Facebook announcement about the Youth Employment Support & Job Readiness Event at The Midlands this Wednesday, June 21, 11am-3pm. Employment service providers, mini-workshops, free workplace clothing, one-on-one resume coaching and free hot dogs and lemonade will all be provided!
2. VOLUNTEER – Come help be a part of The Midlands Youth Employment Event anytime 10am-4pm. We are looking for people to help with resume editing, passing out movie passes, set-up, clean-up. Respond to this email if you’ve got an hour or more to spend with us on Wednesday (June 21).
3. DONATE CLOTHING – Drop off new and clean gently-used workplace attire to donate at the Youth Employment Event and get $1 off a draft beer! Midlands is accepting all donations (open M-F after 4pm and Sat/Sun after 11am).
4. SORT CLOTHING – Come for Tuesday night Happy Hour (June 20) at Midlands to prepare clothing for distribution at the Youth Employment Event with an added $1 off on draft beers.
