Visiting DC Treasure on Upshur Street
205 Upsur Street, now home to DC Treasure.
I finally had a chance to check out DC Treasure, which opened recently at 205 Upshur Street just to the west of Slash Run in Petworth. DC Treasure styles itself as a vintage and antique furniture/accessory shop. Currently, the hours appear to be by appointment or chance.
Based on my visit, I feel that the shop has a lot of potential.

Might I suggest a little curb appeal? The grate on the outside window is certainly not appealing not to mention the sign hasn’t even been updated. Nothing about the outside makes me want to stop in and see what is for sale… Maybe paint the brick? All inexpensive yet necessary fixes in my opinion.
