Salsa With Silvia Working to Open Dance Studio at 3232 Georgia Avenue
Salsa With Silvia is a dance studio here in the Columbia Heights/Park View community that is in the process of working to move into one of the spaces at 3232 Georgia Avenue (just south of Lamont). This is a great business and I like that it adds to the growing diversity of the types of businesses on the Georgia Avenue corridor. To make this all happen, Salsa With Silvia is in the midst of a fundraising campaign that includes an application for a Great Streets grant (an earlier IndieGoGo funding drive fell short of the mark). You can sign their petition for supporting the Great Streets grant here.
Salsa With Silvia will also be at Wednesday’s ANC 1A meeting seeking a letter of support for the grant as well.

This will be a great addtion to the neighborhood, and a great use of the space at 3232 Georgia.
