In reviewing the list of building permits applied for from 5/22/2014 thru 6/13/2014, I noticed an application for 454 Park Road, NW. According to the information attached to the application — which is still under review — the scope of work includes a new interior renovation with a 212 square foot 2-story rear addition. It will also include a new 975 square foot 3rd story addition & new electrical, mechanical & plumbing work as per the submitted plans. The cellar is to be underpinned to increase ceiling height to 8 feet. The entire building is to be converted from a single family dwelling to a 3 unit apartment building.

The property last sold on October 25, 2013, for $390,000. The map below shows where the property is located.
