Progress Update on 3205 Georgia Avenue
The new building at Georgia and Kenyon is really starting to take shape. I noticed as I was walking east on Kenyon over the weekend that you can see it from 11th Street, which I thought was kind of cool. As I’ve written before, the building will have 31 1- and 2-bedroom rental units when completed. Of those, 5 will be affordable. The plan as presented also included bike parking along Kenyon Street (for 10 bikes) and for 16 parking spaces off the alley.
Thus far, this is hands down one of the most attractive new buildings to be added to the neighborhood, and it fits in well with the rowhouses on the eastern side of Georgia Avenue.
