More Information on 715 Kenyon Street Development

715 Kenyon in mid-construction.

In digging around to find out more about 715 Kenyon since I noticed it in June, I finally found a good description of the project from the Elevation DC site.

According to Elevation DC, “the existing building on the site was a 3,000-square-foot, single-family, six-bedroom house on a big lot. The building has been gutted … for building an addition to the original house in order to fit in six two-bedroom, two-bath apartments, each 1,100 to 1,200 square feet.”

I particularly liked the quote Elevation DC attributed to developer M.J. Berman of Boundary Street Development regarding out area.  According to the site, Berman thinks that we live in ” … an exciting neighborhood and an exciting time to be in the neighborhood. There’s a lot of new projects being built. There’s a lot happening on Georgia Avenue. I think there’s going to be a lot of new residents, and that’s going to lend energy to the commercial strip.”

I agree. In the past years its become difficult to keep up with all the development, large and small, that is either in progress or in the pipeline. It is indeed an exciting time to live in Park View.

I certainly agree! It’s an exciting time to live in Park View. I consider myself very fortunate! As always, thanks for the great updates on all the developments. It is very much appreciated!

  2. Making room for 6 families instead of 1 is often frowned upon. I am happy to see you embrace the change of the times and welcome new people into your community. Several of the properties managed in gilbert do not recieve such a warm welcome when tennats change.
