New Renderings of 3205 Georgia Project
While visiting the Website for Trout Design Studio, I noticed that they have posted color renderings of the building proposed for the vacant lot on the northeast corner of Georgia Avenue and Kenyon Street. I’ve posted two here and you can visit their Website for the other three.
I originally posted about this project at the end of September 2012. The building will have five floors and 31 1- and 2-bedroom rental units when completed. Of those, 5 will be affordable. The project is still moving through the permitting process.

Thanks for this update Kent! Looks like a great building, and we definitely need something like this at the corner of Ga. and Kenyon.

Not to change the subject (but I will…) – is there any update on the Park Morton redevelopment? There doesn’t seem to be much indication that the second phase is happening.

the only promising movement i see is the boarding up of units slated for phase 1. any update from dcha or the city is duly needed!

I have also tried to inquire about this and hit dead ends. It seems with the Avenue completed this would be pushing things fwd but all I’ve seen is boarded up buildings at PM. I really hope they aren’t just sitting on it b/c something needs to be done, this place is deteriorating.
Kent, do you know anything about the plans or a timeline?

I tried email Jim Graham’s office at the end of last year and got no reply. Maybe the ANC SMD needs to write a formal letter to get a response?
