Latest Development Scuttlebutt, This Time on Park Road
The latest neighborhood property to come to my attention headed for new development appears to be 762 Park Road. The property changed hands on Oct. 1, 2012, for $715,000.
While I’ve yet to get many details, from what I have learned so far the project will be entirely by right and redeveloped into condos. The project is still in its early stages so many details beyond these would be mere speculation. I’ll be sure to provide a much fuller overview of the project once they’re known.
Until recently, the property supported an auto repair shop. It was originally built as the carriage house for nearby 770 Park Road.

Hope the ANC works to make sure the curb cut is eliminated and parking (if any) is accessed from the alley behind.

Turning it into condos would be a total safety issue. Cars are always double parked on this street and this would make the problem worse. Will the site have to be re-zoned?
