More Public Art Popping Up in Park View
Two new art installations are coming to the 3200 block of Georgia Avenue. The first, already completed, is on the Kenyon street side of Morgan’s Seafood (shown right and below). The second, on Georgia across from Keefer Pl., is still in progress but expected to be completed by Sunday. Both are part of the Georgia Avenue Window Walk initiative.
If you’d like to see both in person and learn more about the artists, an event is scheduled for Sunday, September 23rd starting at 4 p.m.

We’ll be hosting a reception and art walk starting at Pleasant Plains Workshop (2608 Ga Ave) and ending at DC Reynolds (3628 Ga Ave). This event is a part of the citywide Art-4-All program.
Schedule:
4-5:30pm- Reception at Pleasant Plains Workshop with new window artists Artists Dana Jeri Maier and Elizabeth Stewart at Pleasant Plains Workshop- Refreshments and Light fare from local restaurants5:30-6:30- Art Walk featuring all 4 Georgia Avenue Window Walk installations and other art stops along the way
6:30- however long you want to stay: Reception at DC Reynolds with drink specials and light fare (cash bar)The Georgia Avenue Window Walk is a collaborative effort by The Georgia Avenue Community Development Task Force, Pleasant Plains Workshop, and a committee of neighborhood resident volunteers.
