Chez Billy Celebrates in Advance of Sunday’s Opening

April 13, 2012

Chez Billy's at 3815 Georgia Avenue, NW

In advance of Chez Billy’s Sunday opening, they had a small celebration Friday night for friends and family to preview the area’s new French Bistro and Lounge located at 3815 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington DC.

Complimentary beer, wine, and cocktails were served along with selections from Chef Brendan L’etoile’s hors d’oeuvres menu — which were fantastic. Among the selections I tried were the cheese puffs, vichyssoise (which was great), and pâté. There was also a salmon selection that I didn’t get to try.

The building itself looks great inside and out and I certainly like that the former Billy Simpson’s is on the National Register of Historic Places. I predict that this will be a very popular destination in the Petworth/Park View area.

Spirits were high as invited guests got to see the new Chez Billy and sample drinks and hors d'oeuvres
