    This is really unfortunate.

Thankfully the victim’s injuries are non-life threatening. Though every incident at this intersection might not be directly attributable to Sweet Mango Cafe, it seems that this particular shooting may well be linked to the establishment. What might be the repercussions if it is discovered that the shooting was directly or indirectly related to events that occurred at Sweet Mango Cafe? Most importantly, how can we get neighborhood businesses to fully honor voluntary agreements with the community? Sadly, it seems that Voluntary Agreements are stock full of rhetoric and jokes – at least for certain businesses in and bordering Park View.

Is the nightclub/ parties at Sweet Mango’s legal? Do they have the permits and licenses to opperate a nightclub at thatlocation? If they don’t why can’t the police shut them down when they see this going on? The police can see it if the neighbors can…

  3. Kent Says:

While there is no current evidence linking this shooting to Sweet Mango, I am looking into the permitting issue with ABRA to see if the party was approved.
