Friends of the Soldiers’ Home Group Forming
Here’s something for all those that want to be involved in building a strong partnership between the Armed Forces Retirement Home (better known as the Old Soldiers’ Home) and its surrounding neighborhoods. On Thursday, November 10th, there will be a meeting open to all who are interested in starting a “Freinds of” group for the Soldiers’ Home. One of the goals of the group is to foster better relations between our community of veterans and the surrounding communities. Details for this inaugural meeting are below:
When: Thursday, Nov. 10, 7Â p.m.
Where: at the George M. Ferris Jr. Clubhouse 6 Boys & Girls Club
located in the Metropolitan Police Department Regional Operations Command North
