MPD Nabs Narcotics, Guns in Southern Park Place Bust, 10/28/11
Yesterday afternoon, I learned from a resident that about 15 police officers in a mix of regular and tactical gear broke down the front door of a residence on the 3200 block of Park Place in the afternoon. No other details were available at that time. Later that evening, the 3D listerv posted the following, presumably of the same incident.
On October 28, 2011, at approximately 1630 hours [4:30 p.m.], Officers from our Narcotics Division executed a search warrant in the 3200 block of Park Place, NW. A large amount of narcotics and two firearms were seized from this location. Two suspects were placed under arrested and are facing drugs and weapons charges.

Being arrested for this doesnt seem to matter. I’d like to see removal from the neighborhood
/convictions.

Ditto!
Of course, it doesn’t help that I think I heard gunshots fired last night somewhere in the vicinity of Warder Street between Rock Creek Church Road and Quebec.

I heard the same “shots” last night. I live at Warder and Princeton. I went outside and saw smoke coming up off the street that seemed to be from fire crackers etc and then a group of teenagers running out of the alley onto Princeton. things got quiet after that and I never heard any sirens so I am assuming it was fireworks.
