Annual Quebec Place Block Party Enjoyable Despite the Heat

Moon bounce with water slide

The 600 block of Quebec Place had their annual block party on Saturday June 23rd this year. Despite the heat, several neighbors participated by providing music, lighting up the grills, and just relaxing.

The kids really enjoyed themselves, especially after the moon bounce arrived. As with other years, this year’s version had a water slide feature that helped the kids cool down. What was particularly cute was watching the children line up in anticipation while the whole assembly was being inflated.

The 2009 Quebec Place Block Party was featured in the Washington Post for those that may want to read more about it. If you’re interested in organizing a block party on your block, you can find a quick step-by-step guide to help you get started here.
