Senior Wellness Center Seeks Donations

Box of fabrics destined for quilting

The Ward 1 Senior Wellness Center has really begun to serve the area’s seniors in earnest since its open house on February 28th. Yet, to live up to their potential they need support for their programs. They were able to get a grant from ANC 1A during the March meeting which should help, but it won’t be able to provide for all of their needs.

There are many opportunities for the entire community to be involved and support our seniors. One easy way is through donations of needed items in new or like-new condition. Below is a list of items needed by the Ward 1 Senior Wellness Center. People can call 202-727-0338 for more information.

  1. Thanks, I’ve recently been searching for info approximately this subject for a long time and yours is the best I’ve found out so far. However, what about the bottom line? Are you sure about the supply?
