Hydrant at Warder and Newton Streets Finally Getting Repaired
Back on August 31st I posted about some area fire hydrants that were in need of repair. One of them was at the Park View School on the northwest corner of Warder and Newton Streets.
Yesterday, the hydrant at the school finally got some much-needed attention. In addition to being out of service, I was particularly concerned by how much water it was leaking each hour.
I’m not sure how long it normally takes to repair a hydrant once it makes the “out of order” list … but I’m happy that this one will finally be up and running.
Below are two more photos for the work crew and repairs.
