Tot Lot Begun at Bruce-Monroe Site
Installation of tot lot equipment has begun on the former Bruce-Monroe site. The fence around the tennis court is up and looks good too.
Unfortunately, one of the basketball courts has been torn up and started over. Apparently there was a problem with its construction. You can see the plan for the current Bruce-Monroe project here>>

It appeared to me that the wires for the new street lights that were recently installed interferred with the court. About as soon as the lights went up, that court was torn up. The wire stretched over the end of the court by about 4 or 5 feet. They are moving pretty quickly with everything though – and working long days (it’s almost 7 and they still have a dozen people and machines still working)
