New CVS Looking More Like Proposed Rendering
Over the last two weeks, the exterior of the CVS has really taken shape. One no longer has to rely on the rendering that we first saw on Petworth News last April.
In other development news, the Prince of Petworth reported on a groundbreaking yesterday at the northeast corner of Georgia Avenue and Quincy. As for the Green Room, that project is still waiting for permits and hopes to have a contractor selected in the near future.

i’m very skeptical about any trees growing on the left side, much less that full at that size. The building seems right in the sidewalk.
Exaggerating the green seems too popular in artist renderings lately.

Walked the site today…
If they swallow the parking lane in it’s entirety, there could be room for mid-sized trees. If not, there isn’t room for anything–the building is 6-8 feet past the build line of the rest of Georgia ave–the wall abuts the sidewalk like downtown Philly alleys.

I noticed that too. I see no way trees can be added to the Georgia Avenue side of the building.
