How Would You Grade the District’s Snow Response Performance?

Snow removal on Rock Creek Church Rd, Feb. 15, 2010

Now that life is back to normal and folks are able to reflect upon the recent snow with some distance, its time to assess how the District measured up to the challenge or removing record amounts  of snow.

Based on the amount of snow, the size of the city, and how much equipment DDOT had at its disposal, how would you rate the level of service experienced in Park View?

Some people I’ve talked to were pleased. Others felt the response fell short. Others still commented that there seemed to be little rhyme or reason as to where the city focused and where they didn’t.

Please share your experiences, success stories, or disappointments.
