Park View’s Mothership Now Open
The long awaited opening of Park View’s newest restaurant has arrived. Mothership, located in the former Brown’s Bakery building on the northeast corner of Georgia Avenue and Lamont (3301 Georgia) is now open.
Their planned hours of operation will be closed on Mondays, open from 6:00-10:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 6:00-11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. They also plan to start doing brunch on Saturday and Sunday once they are approved for operating a summer garden (they are shooting for having that in place by mid-April).
Currently, Mothership is in the process of applying for a liquor license to serve beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
I was fortunate enough to visit Mothership for their initial soft opening last Friday. Overall, I thought the food was good and look forward to going back. I had the PEI Mussels which I’ve shown here.
For a better idea of what you can expect when you visit, below is their current menu (click to enlarge).

Looking forward to checking the place out. Was confused if it was open on Saturday so didn’t stop in. Hopefully they get more street presence with a better sign and lighting soon. Glad it has finally landed in PV!
