Work has begun at 809-811 Otis Place NW
Back in August I reported that redevelopment was headed for 809-811 Otis Place, NW. Well, work is finally underway. Previously, I was told that the building could have as many as 27 units … but in looking at a set of plans I was able to find (dated November 2011) it appears that the number may actually be closer to 23.
The entire building also looks like it may only consist of one bedroom units, each being approximately between 541 and 630 sq. feet. I think it is great that this property will be coming back online and finally get off the vacant and blighted property lists.
