I hope they can do this with all of Georgia Avenue. I fear for my life biking down to the Petworth Metro on Georgia every morning.

Why would you want buses and bikes to share the same lane? It seems dangerous and will slow down the buses (isn’t the goal of dedicated bus lanes to speed up that mode of public transportation).

That sounds nice, but the bus / bike only lanes are not enforced down in Chinatown. Unless MPD is going to better enforce traffic laws in the bus / bike only lanes, why go through all the trouble?
