Need New House Address Numbers for Your Transom?
For those of you restoring your house, or just in need of new address numbers in the transom over your entry door, here’s a great resource I learned about from Twitter user @whiteknuckled (Steve Davis). You can also read about his experience on his blog Our Old Rowhouse.
The House Number Lab offers several styles of numbers, in different finishes and sizes, available for prices ranging from about $15 for white vinyl to $45 for 22K gold per number. In looking at the styles, The Americana appears to be the correct style for many of the houses in Park View.
I honestly wish I’d known about this resource when I had my house numbers redone a few years ago. In that case, I ended up having them hand painted by an artisan in Baltimore. The ability to order numbers is far more convenient and less expensive.

We installed new numbers purchased from House Number Lab on our Warder St, home. The were super easy to install and look fantastic.
