My neighborhood experienced the same idiotic decision. The decision is all the more frustrating because we border Maryland and its liquor stores were not counted as overconcentration.

There’s another bite at the apple, though. Email and call all 13 Councilmembers to oppose Mayor Gray’s fy13 budget proposal to allow liquor stores to open at 7a. When you call also let them know the liquor stores must submit a substantial change application before they can be granted a 7a open time.
