Update on NDC’s Heights Development – Lamont & Georgia
Work is moving along well at the Neighborhood Development Company’s The Heights project located at Lamont and Georgia, NW. Demolition at the site in preparation of the development began in mid-January 2012.
The mixed use, mixed income development is designed to contain 69 units with 10,000 square feet of ground floor retail. The building is also planned to have 29 parking spaces.
As you can see from the photos below, in the past three months the building’s foundation has been poured and construction appears poised to begin rising above street level in the coming weeks.
