
I found the sticker above on Connecticut Avenue just south of the Van Ness Metro Station. I only regret I didn’t get to see it before tear at the top removed the baseball cap.

February 29, 2012UPDATE 3/2/12: “Due to the forecast of rain tomorrow morning, the Georgia Avenue Walk will be postponed until next Saturday, March 10 at 11am.”
Below is an announcement for two upcoming events from the Georgia Avenue Community Development Task Force that should be of interest to many in the community, especially those interested in the the future of Georgia Avenue.
The Georgia Avenue Community Development Task Force is gearing up for the Georgia Avenue Walk on Saturday March 3rd at 11am and the At-Large Candidate Forum on Monday March 12 at 6:30pm.
The Georgia Avenue Walk will begin at the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro Station (west side) at 11am. Members of the Task Force who live and work along Georgia Avenue will talk about the vision we have for our neighborhood as we walk to the Shaw/Howard Metro Station at 7th and S St.
The Candidates Forum on March 12 will be at the Bruce Monroe @ Park View School. A committee will create a set of in-depth and yes/no questions based on your input. What issues would you like for the At-Large Candidates to address? Send your feedback to sylvia@ecacollective.org or (202) 462-2285.
