Coming Soon: Lion’s Den Jamaican Restaurant
Over the holiday weekend I noticed that Lion’s Den Jamaican Restaurant has posted a sign which I presume indicates they are nearing an opening date. There has been some buzz on the street that a West Indian restaurant would be coming to 3619 Georgia Avenue since September, 2010, but no real details have been forthcoming.
Folks may recall that this is the same building that once housed Mario’s Pizza House, located on the southeast corner of Georgia Avenue and Princeton Place.
At present, I have no information on hours, planned opening date, or menu selections. Calling the phone number only afforded me the opportunity to leave a message. I’ll share additional information as it comes to my attention.
